The Equator Foundation assists traumatized refugees and victims of human trafficking in the Netherlands, and populations affected by war elsewhere in the world. Equator promotes both mental recovery and social integration.

The Equator Foundation is part of Arq Psychotrauma Expert Groep. Arq Psychotrauma Expert Groep unites and supports specialised organisations around the theme of psychotrauma. Its purpose is to facilitate cooperation between these organisations, so that they can strengthen each other and so that each one may perform its work in the field of psychotrauma in an optimal way. Arq ensures the safeguarding as well as the optimum use of the expertise and experience in the field of psychotrauma that have been gained over the past 30 years. As a holding which provides support services, Arq Foundation does not itself carry out any care tasks.
